Questions you might have
What counts as one request?
Any single HTTP request to one of our endpoints — whether REST, GraphQL, or an MCP tool invocation. Vector-tile fetches are bundled at 50 tiles per request.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately — we pro-rate the remainder of your current billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date.
How does billing work?
PayFast is the merchant of record for South African cards (debit and credit) and EFT. You'll get a tax invoice from us every month, billed in ZAR. No FX conversion, no foreign-card surcharges.
What happens if I go over my monthly limit?
Soft cap: we email you when you reach 80% of your monthly quota. Hard cap kicks in at 110% and returns HTTP 429 until you either upgrade or the next month rolls over. We never bill-shock you with overage fees.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes — talk to us for a 15% annual discount. We'll invoice you directly.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. We refund any subscription within 14 days of payment if you change your mind. See the refund policy for the full text.
